In 2011 we visited 26 states driving 11,000 miles in eight weeks photographing 189 libraries. The states we visited included New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsyvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and New England.
